Push beyond recreational limits. PADI's TecRec programme takes you to 50 metres with decompression diving, multiple gas mixes, and advanced equipment configurations.
Course Syllabus
Tec 40: Introduction to Tech
Your entry into technical diving. Dive to 40 metres using enriched air nitrox, limited decompression stops, and twin cylinder or single cylinder with stage.
Tec 45: Intermediate Technical
Extend to 45 metres with multiple decompression stops. Use up to two decompression gases and develop advanced buoyancy and trim skills.
Tec 50: Advanced Technical
Dive to 50 metres, the limit of PADI recreational technical diving. Multiple decompression gases, complex dive planning, and advanced equipment configurations.
Equipment & Gas Management
Master twin cylinder configuration, stage/deco cylinders, regulators, and dive computers for technical diving. Learn gas planning and emergency procedures.
Certification
Each Tec level is a standalone certification. Progress at your own pace through Tec 40, 45, and 50 with East Lancs Diving's experienced technical instructors.
What You Need
Prerequisites (Tec 40)
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- PADI Enriched Air Diver certification
- Minimum 30 logged dives
- Must be 18 years or older
- Medical clearance from a physician
Schedule & Inclusions
Format: Multi-day courses arranged around your availability
Sites: UK quarry and open water sites with appropriate depth
Included: Equipment guidance, PADI materials, certification card
