Cancellation & Refund Policy
East Lancs Diving Limited. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.
Non-Refundable Experiences
Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) Experiences and Scuba Review/Refresher Courses are strictly non-refundable. Date changes must be requested in writing and confirmed at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date and are subject to availability.
Certification & Training Courses
Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Specialty, Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses may be cancelled up to fourteen (14) days prior to the agreed start date for a refund, less any non-recoverable costs including e-learning materials, certifications, and third-party fees.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations within fourteen (14) days of the start date, no-shows, late arrivals, or failure to complete due to personal reasons are non-refundable.
Medical Fitness & Documentation
Participants must meet medical fitness requirements and provide all required documentation. Inability to participate due to medical or documentation issues is treated as a participant cancellation.
Weather, Safety & Operational Changes
The Club may reschedule or cancel due to unsafe conditions, equipment failure, instructor availability, safety concerns, or insufficient numbers. Where possible, an alternative date will be offered. Refunds or credits may be offered at the Club's discretion, excluding non-recoverable costs.
Transfers & Substitutions
Bookings are non-transferable without prior written approval and may be subject to administrative fees and eligibility checks.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 7 to 14 business days, subject to payment provider processing times.
